Crop area
Pick the visible region you want to keep, then export a result that includes only that selection.
Image tool
Crop images for avatars, thumbnails, product images, social posts, and document layouts.
Cropping removes pixels outside the selected area.
Crop the visible image area
Up to 25 JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC or HEIF files, processed locally in your browser.
Pick the visible region you want to keep, then export a result that includes only that selection.
Crop first when composition matters, then resize if the destination also has width or height limits.
Decide what the image needs to communicate before moving the crop edges. Keep important faces, products, and text away from the boundary, and leave enough visual breathing room. Different destinations may need separate square, portrait, and landscape crops.
After cropping, confirm the output dimensions and inspect the edges for accidentally cut-off content. Browser export creates a new copy and may remove metadata. Keep the uncropped original so you can create a different composition later.
Cropping keeps only the selected visible area and removes pixels outside that area.
